Marathon, and Maps

By now, I feel like I've memorized outpost. Spawn in lower processing. Rotate Westwards towards the main building. Yellow key spawn, first window. Closed window? Runners. Alternatively, eastwards towards dorms, under command wing (that thief entrance there... man I wish I got to try that before the patch). Climb up the pile of crates on the Eastern side, and watch out for runners- there's a red key spawn there.

The maps are small. Even Dire Marsh is somewhat small, frankly. It's always a warzone in algae ponds.

People always suggest changes to balance, making the grenades different (a pullout animation / pin pull animation would probably do the trick). Perhaps, larger maps are all that is needed. Long rotates, time to explore and see the wonders of Marathon- like, what the actual fuck are those growths in Dorms?

Movement is intentional. Choosing where, when, and how to rotate is a plan. Take the shorter, more open route? Or the windier cliff-side route with less enemies? Rotations are slower. Rushing a PoI because you heard gunshots is less frequent. PvP is an event which happens by virtue of coincidence. Play quiet, listen to the sounds of the birds, the tip-tapping of the metal toes of a runner, and the scattering rain, and escape.

Cryo archive is full of tiny nooks and crannies. Tiny spaces in where a Misriah, and formerly, a WSTR, would be king. Nowadays, grenades and bubble shields. Too tight. A massive space, yet, small in every way. It is the minotaur's maze. It is not to Blame! A cryogenics storage is meant to be efficient. Yet, if the system was automated, with pathways and crossroads designed around collapsed cryogenics systems, opening massive sightlines of blank void, then perhaps it would bring in snipers, and my favorite precision weapons.

Bigger maps. Longer match timers. One guaranteed event per map. Please, Bungo.

Also, Durandal 100% reads Homestuck. And an OC they yumeship themselves with, with some fucked up quadrant spades thing. (I've never read homestuck.)
